The Palomar Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) welcomes all of our visitors and members. We have many exciting programs planned for the coming months. Continue to check our website for more information.

Remember, we meet on the second Wednesday of each month so…  Mark your calendars!

Please let us know what topics you would like to hear at our Tech Clinics and Keynote Addresses. We seek to provide value through an increased awareness of the Quality field. Your help is needed.

As a matter of fact, we would like to provide as much information as possible to our membership through our website. Look for meeting information as well as job openings. We would also like to compile a reference library on our website of articles, "white paper" and presentations YOU have prepared. Please send Michael (our Webmaster) copies he can load into our website that can be beneficial to us all. The original word documents or PowerPoint presentations are very much appreciated.

Thank you all for your support and participation. We have a great ASQ Section and the current Board is committed to making it even better through improved programs and services. We’ll keep you posted.

Treasurer

Welcome to the Palomar ASQ Section.  I am the current Treasurer and have been a member of this section for 20 years.  As a Board Member, we are committed to developing your vocational and communication skills, improving your relevance and impact in the workplace, and providing networking opportunities.  My personal growth has been fostered and supported by the Palomar Section and that philosophy is the core of our charter for you and all section members.  You are our most valuable asset, and are the future of Quality. I am an independent consultant and have established KullQual Enterprises to help support my clients.  I have 30 years of leadership experience in planning and implementing business management system solutions, creating and leading teams, and managing complex projects. I have facilitated implementation and development of internationally recognized management system programs, including compliance and registration to ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001. I have provided executive, middle management, and staff training to support implementation of various management system programs, including internal auditor training for quality and environmental management systems. As an RABQSA Certified Provisional Auditor, I have facilitated and led internal audits to verify effectiveness of implemented programs. As an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Reliability Engineer I have supported ASQ Certification programs by teaching Certified Quality Manager, Certified Reliability Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Engineer refresher courses for the Temecula, Tijuana, San Diego, and Palomar ASQ Sections.  I have taught statistics and other quality disciplines at Palomar College for 16 years. I look forward to continuing to support you and your professional development.

Membership Chair

On behalf of the ASQ Palomar Section and Membership Chair I extend my welcome to you.

Within our section we offer information on past and current quality tools, techniques, and resources as well to provide an opportunity to network with other quality professionals while sharing best practices though our guest speakers and our technical clinics. We also offer professional development within your individual careers by offering information on education and training alternatives through the professional ASQ certification program.

I have been an ASQ member since 1985 and I have grown much in my professional career due to ASQ membership. I am currently employed at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Quality Engineer and I look forward to meeting you if I haven't done so already. Please let me know where I can assist you with any questions or comments you may have.
